Day 4 - No rush, chilling in Mt Isa
(Nu kommer det ett par inlägg på engelska, anledningen var att Klaus vill kunna läsa det med, och jag orkade inte skriva på både svenska och engelska, men han var inte så intresserad i att skriva så blev bara ett par dagar.)
We started at bit later today, didn't go up until 9.30am. Took it quite easy, had a shower now when we can :P packed our stuff, Jeff and Jess wasn't up so we wrote them a thank you note and then we headed into the center.
Our next goal is Tennant Creek, thats in another state, so soon we're leaving QLD and head in to NT instead. But we don't want to stress through everything so we decieded we take it easy and stay in Mt Isa for some hours and just drive as far as we like later.
We found a nice lake were we are sitting at the moment. It's really beautiful. We thought about having a BBQ here but it's not gas BBQs, you have to get your own wood and do it the old way, so see how it goes with that :P
That's all we done so far today, now I gonna work on my tan ;)
Now are we in the car, just passed Cammonweal. So we will soon cross the border to NT. Actually right now, so gonna take some pics.
Klaus has taken over the driving so Im in the back seat and chilling now.
For an hour ago a dream of mine came true, was to slow to take a picture but anyway I had a kangaroo jumping next to the car for a couple of seconds. You know like dolphins swim next to boats in the movies :P
We stopped at a free camping spot a bit before Tennant Creek, think the gadge stopped at 460 km. We ate some tuna sandwiches and drank some beers, but it was to cold to stay out so we went to bed early again. But it was freezing cold sleeping aswell, had pants, socks, two t-shirts and one pullover and was still freezing.
